The Sun shinning was through the Clock face creating a camera obscura effect producing the reflection on the floor inside the cargo shed. It is impossible to discern the time as the position of the sun and the position of number twelve cannot be worked out.CLOCK TOWER
In 1948 The clock tower was installed by A.L. Franklin on No. 3 Wharf shed at a cost of £900. The clock was used to regulate working times for wharf workers as well as by townspeople. Silenced in 1953, it was restored in 1986.
